| If you find yourself using a certain tab on a control panel frequently
you can add a shortcut to that tab. Create a shortcut and use the following syntax for the
filename: <Path>\Control.exe <Control Panel File>,<Name of
Panel>,<Tab Number start from zero>
For example on my system to bring up the Device Manager tab of the system control
panel:
C:\WINDOWS\CONTROL.EXE sysdm.cpl,System,1
* Note there are no spaces after the name of the control panel file. You can find the
names of all of the cpl files in your windows system directory. |
