Salvaging a Corrupt PBL
Occasionally you get a PBL that gets corrupted and you loose all your work since your last back-up. Although the is no way to restore your work completely you can still salvage most of the scripts.

Make a copy of the corrupt PBL and keep it in a safe place. Then restore the corrupt PBL from our last back-up. In explorer open the old PBL in wordpad. Then do a search for the scripts or object names that you have changed since the last back up and you should find the textual version of the script. Then it is simply a matter of copying from wordpad and pasting into PowerBuilder. Not the quickest process but a lot quicker than re-coding all the changes.
